PROBLEM: What is needed to control a linear actuator?

SOLUTION: Thomson AC and DC actuators can be controlled from a double pole double throw (DPDT) switch.

Note, though, that AC actuators require a constant run/start capacitor. Check the actuator itself to determine if this capacitor is mounted internally, or if a separate external capacitor kit is needed.
